The Offa Descendants’ Union, ODU, under the able leadership of Alhaji Muideen Olaniyi Azeez-Salako, has mourned the death of Mr. Rafiu Oyeyemi.
Oyeyemi, a former Comptroller of Customs, died on Thursday, July 20, 2023, after a brief illness.
ODU described the demise of Late Oyeyemi, from Ile Olalemi Offa, as a great loss to the people of Offa.
During his life, Oyeyemi was kind, generous, and deeply passionate about issues concerning Offa.
No doubt, the death of a loved one is usually painful because it is irreparable, but we must always take solace in God, especially if the deceased had lived a good and fulfilled life.
The union prays that God will grant the late Rafiu Oyeyemi eternal rest and grant his friends, family, associates, and the people of Offa the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
