The Offa Descendants’ Union, ODU, under the able leadership of Alhaji Muideen Olaniyi Azeez-Salako, received with joy the news of the release of the abducted Offa-born Mr. Babatunde Munir Giwa and his colleague.
Recall that the duo was abducted by unknown gunmen in Owa Oyin Local Government Area of Delta State on May 19, 2023.
The Union applauded the Delta State Governor, the Nigerian Railway Corporation, the Nigerian Police, and other security agencies for their prompt action that led to the release of Mr. Babatunde Munir Giwa and his colleague.
The ODU reinstates its commitment to the well-being of all Offa indigenes and friends.
