The Offa Descendants’ Union, ODU, under the able leadership of Alhaji Muideen Olaniyi Azeez-Salako, has described the kidnapping of an indigene of Offa, Mr. Babatunde Munir Giwa, and a colleague by unknown gunmen at Railway Village, Owa Oyin Local Government Area of Delta State, as despicable and utterly barbaric.
Mr Munir Babatunde Giwa, who is the son of Alhaji B.S. Giwa of Olalemi Compound Offa, and his colleague were kidnapped on their way to get some foodstuffs.
The ODU urges the Nigerian Police, Delta State Government, Nigerian Railway Corporation, and other security agencies to disburse all efforts and resources to rescue the abducted.
