The Offa Descendant Union (ODU), under the leadership of Alhaji Olaniyi Muideen Azeez Salako, has applauded Mrs. Bilquis Yetunde Bintinlaiye of Balogun Compound Offa over her Best Student Award at the Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA, where she completed her Msc programme in Chemistry with a perfect GPA of 4.0.
The commendation was given via a congratulatory message by the ODU’s National Social Secretary and Ag NPRO, Idowu Muhydeen Oladipo, on behalf of the National President, Alhaji Salako described Bilquis’s academic feat as commendable and worthy of emulation. He said Bilqius has made us all proud.
Alhaji Salako added that Offa is known as an academic hub and that her accomplishment in the faraway USA is a testimony to this.
Balquis, a niqob sister, has a strong background in analytical techniques, principles, theories, sampling, data analysis, forensic analysis, and method development. She has previously received many honours and awards such as the Albert and Ethel Smith Scholarship Award, Gale J. Clark Memorial Scholarship Award, MTSU Chemistry Department Outstanding Graduate Student Award, and the 2021 Tennessee Academy of Science Award, among others.
The ODU national president prayed that the Almighty God will continue to lead, guide and grant Biliquis Bintinlaiye wisdom to serve her country and humanity.
