The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) in Kwara State has canceled election results from Tsaragi polling Unit 10 of Edu local government over ballot box snatching.
INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Kwara, Mallam Attahiru Madami, told newsmen on Sunday that the cancellation was due to the snatching of ballot boxes by hoodlums in the Presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday.
The REC, who noted that the cancellation was in line with the rules guiding the conduct of the elections said out of 2,887 polling units in Kwara, only one polling unit had its ballot boxes snatched, according to The Informant247.
