Alhaja Kudirat Oyawoye has died.
Alhaja Kudirat was wife of Africa first professor of Geology, Jimoh Mosobalaje Oyawoye.
This was announced in a statement by the Offa Descendants Union (ODU)’s National Social Secretary and Acting Public Relations Officer, Idowu Muhydeen Oladipo, on Thursday.
It reads: “The Offa Descendants’ Union (O.D.U) deeply expresses its condolences over the sudden exit of Alhaja Kudirat Oyawoye wife of Professor Mosobalaje Oyawoye today, Thursday 16th February 2023.
“Janaza (Islamic burial rites) will take place by 4 PM today at Professor Mosobalaje Oyawoye’s residence, Offa.
“O.D.U. hereby commiserates with families, friends, and associates over her demise.
“May Allah grant her Janatul Fir’daus.”
