The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has charged Ondo people to work for the victory of All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate Bola Tinubu.
Akeredolu stated that the call for Southern presidency this year must not to fail.
Akeredolu noted that since the North produced the President for eight years, it was the turn of the South to occupy the seat.
The governor spoke on Monday at the APC Ondo North Senatorial Campaign Rally held in Owo, NAN reports.
The Governor insisted that Tinubu enjoys nationwide acceptability which would result in his victory on February 25.
The senior lawyer declared that no amount of gimmicks and conspiracy could scuttle the chances of the party’s co-founder.
“Asiwaju Tinubu is tested and trusted. He has been governor of Lagos and we know how he transformed the State.
”I can assure you, Nigeria will move forward under Tinubu as President,” he stressed.
