The National Director Contact and Mobilization for Atiku Care Foundation (ACF), Honourable Bukoye Marooph Bintinlaye has, on Saturday, unveiling a campaign billboard for all People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
The billboard is sited at Offa Eid Prayer Ground, Offa local government area of Kwara State.
The billboard displays pictures PDP leaders and candidates: former senate president Bukola Saraki, Atiku Abubakar (presidential candidate) and his running mate Ifeanyi Okowa, Alhaji Shuaibu Yaman Abdullahi (Kwara governorship candidate) and his running mate Hon Gbenga Peter Makanjuola, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim (Kwara South candidate), Hon Hassan Oyeyemi Oyeleke (Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency candidate), Chief (Mrs) Iyabo Ibiyeye-Adisa (candidate for Eesa/Shawo/Igboidun Constituency at Kwara House of Assembly Constituency) and Comrade Salahudeen Lukman AIG (candidate for Ojomu/Balogun Constituency at Kwara House of Assembly).
In his address, Bintinlaye said the PDP is the only party that is capable of salvaging Nigeria in the quagmire.
According to him, only PDP government can transform the lives of the people of the country especially youths adding that the current APC led government has failed the people.
He said: “PDP has agenda outlined then for the growth and development of this country, unlike the inept APC.
“There is an urgent need for Kwarans, indeed Nigerians, to reject the callous nature of governance orchestrated by the APC political dealers.
“We have never had it this bad. These people must be voted out. We have to ensure that every single candidate of the PDP is voted for. This is the only way to salvage this country.”
The erection of the billboard was supervised by Honourable Bukoye Bintinlaye’s Personal Assistant who doubles as PDP Youth leader for Essa Ward, Prince Saheed Shittu.
