….Tribunal Judgement, Rape Of Justice, People’s Mandate

….Adeleke’s Emergence As Governor Is Divinely Orchestrated

The National Director Contact and Mobilization for Atiku Care Foundation, ACF, Honourable Bukoye Marooph Bintinlaye has enjoined the people of Osun State to remain calm and law-abiding over the Friday verdict of election tribunal judgement.

In a statement on Friday, Bintinlaye said: “On Osun Tribunal judgment. No cause for alarm at all. Even if it went Governor Adeleke’s way they will still go to the Appeal Court. No matter what they do, Imole will shine in Osun.

Although, the Tribunal judgement is a rape on justice and people’s mandate, we are aware of their strategies and tactics; they simply intend to use these methods to allay the fears of their members.

“Ademola Adeleke’s election as governor of Osun State was divinely ordained. The fact that Adeleke will live at Bola Ige House for the next four years is evidence that God has control over human affairs and grants authority to whomever He pleases.

“The Osun state populace has already begun to reap the benefits of decent government that they had been starved of for the previous four years—in fact, during the previous 12 years of the APC’s anti-people regime. The Osun people defended their mandate at the election in July, and they will do so again in the tribunal. Adeleke is going to triumph once more.

“I want to beg all PDP members and supporters in Osun State and the surrounding areas not to let this ruling demoralize them. Come out in force to cast your PDP ballots on February 25 and March 11, 2023.

“I also urge everyone to maintain their composure. There is no need for concern, according to Governor Adeleke. Let our people know that we will do everything in our power to uphold this highly regarded mandate.”

Bintinlaye expressed optimism that the appeal court would do justice at the end of the day.

Recall Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was declared winner of the July 16 Osun governorship election.

Adeleke secured 403,371 votes to defeat his closest contender, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 375,027 votes.

The PDP candidate won 17 LGAs, while the incumbent governor secured victory in 13 LGAs. However, Oyetola challenged the outcome of the election in court.
