The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, on Friday hailed his supporters in Oyo State.
Thousands of his supporters chorused his name ATIKU! ATIKU! ATIKU! ATIKU! continuously on Thursday in Ibadan while Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike, addressed the crowd.
Wike and other G5 governors converged at the frontage of Mapo Hall to campaign for the reelection of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Atiku’s loyalists chanted “Atiku, Atiku, Atiku…” as the Rivers helmsman urged the people to vote for Makinde and other PDP candidates in the state.
In response, the former Vice President stated that he heard them “loud and clear”.
“I take it warmly as a vote of confidence in me and our great party, @OfficialPDPNig. You proved that my love for the Pace-Setter State over the years is not in vain.
