A member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign council in Kwara State, Honourable Marooph Bukoye Bintinlaye has commenced construction of a road in Atari area of Offa, Kwara State.
Bintinlaye is also the National Director Contact and Mobilization for Atiku Care Foundation (ACF).
According to a source close to Bintinlaye, the road is his bid to contribute to community development.
While addressing newsmen, Bintinlaye said he decided to take on the road because of its importance to the people of Atari area in Offa.
“The road no doubt is one of strategic roads in the local government area. I earmarked the road for construction and would be inaugurated for effective take off very soon.
“It is a community development. We don’t have to continue waiting on government, we should start working on our community development, too. I want to make it coal-tarred road.”
