The Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Osun State Council, Comrade (Dr.) Christopher A. Arapasopo, mpi has congratulated the newly elected executives of the Law Officers Association of Nigeria (LOAN), Osun State Chapter

He said their emergence is a promising step towards strengthening the association.

This was contained in a statement issued on Friday, February 6, 2026.

The congress hailed the election of the new leadership led by Comrade Muyiwa Ogunleye as chairman, noting that it marked the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for the association.

Arapasopo assured the new LOAN leadership of the support of the NLC administration in addressing challenges confronting the association, stressing that organised labour remains committed to partnerships that promote professionalism, fairness and justice within the public service.

According to him, the composition of the new executive team reflects a blend of diversity, expertise and dedication needed to steer the association to greater heights.

“We are encouraged by the wealth of experience, passion and commitment the newly elected executives bring to advance the cause of the association. I extend my best wishes to the new chairman, whom I am confident will lead with grace, wisdom and a clear vision for the future,” he said.

The newly elected executives of the Law Officers Association of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter, are: Muyiwa Ogunleye (Chairman), Kemi Oyolola (Vice Chairman), Wuraola Ogunkola (Secretary), Funmi Akano (Assistant Secretary), F.K. Labo-Popoola (Treasurer), Philips Afolayan (Financial Secretary) and Ayomide Tifase (Public Relations Officer).

The Osun NLC once again congratulated the executives and wished them a successful and impactful tenure.
