The Global President of the Offa Descendants Union (ODU), Alhaji (Dr.) Muideen Olaniyi Azeez Salako, was captured joyfully gracing to music at the naming ceremony of the newly born twins of the Union’s National Public Relations Officer, Comrade Taofeek Olalekan Olaosebikan.
The event took place at Dee Arabian Suites & Hotel, Offa on December 29, 2025.
The well-attended ceremony attracted several prominent personalities from Offa and beyond.
Among the dignitaries present were Dr. Biodun Oladipo, National General Secretary of the Offa Descendants Union (ODU); Chief Lanre Shittu, Otun Akoni of Offa and Chairman, ODU Home Branch; Hon. Hassan Oyeyemi Oyeleke, Majority Leader of the 8th Kwara State House of Assembly, representing the Essa/Shawo/Igboidun Constituency; and Dr. Rauf Abiodun Oladipo.
Also in attendance were Pastor Opatola Gbenga Jacob, Assistant General Secretary II of ODU; Alhaji Nura Tunde Yahaya, Chairman of the Offa Descendants Union (ODU), North-West Zone; and his Secretary, Hon. Maruf Sanni, among other notable members and well-wishers.
The event was marked by warmth, cultural expression, and a strong show of unity among members of the Offa Descendants Union.
