Eeman Foundation College Emerges Overall Winner At Osun Science Competition

Eeman Foundation Secondary School, Osun State, has emerged as the overall winner in the Senior Secondary School category of the Science Competition organised by Academic Stars Competitions, Nigeria.

The award plaque, recognising the school’s First Position (SS3 Category), was formally presented on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, during an official visit to the school by representatives of the Osun State Ministry of Education and the Local Inspector of Education, Egbedore Local Government.

 

The delegation was led by Mr. Titiloye M.O., Director, Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, alongside Mr. Adegoke M., the Local Inspector of Education for Egbedore Local Government.

 

During the visit, the officials presented prizes to the first and second position winners, honoured the most impactful science teacher, and formally handed over a recognition plaque to the school in acknowledgement of its outstanding performance.

 

In the SS3 category of the competition, Muhammad Adeleke clinched the first position, while Ahmad Seriki emerged as the second position winner, further bringing distinction to the school.

 

The Academic Stars Science Competition, which featured senior secondary schools across Osun State, is aimed at promoting academic excellence, scientific innovation, and healthy intellectual rivalry among students.

 

Beyond the science competition, Eeman Foundation Secondary School has also recorded outstanding national academic success, having produced the Overall Best Student in the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in Nigeria.

 

The student, Master Ajisafe Qoreebullah Olamilekan, emerged as the best candidate nationwide and was honoured with WAEC’s National Distinction Award during the National Council Meeting of the West African Examinations Council held in Umuahia, Abia State, in November 2025.

 

Ajisafe, a student of Eeman Foundation Secondary School and the first-born of his parents, recorded an impressive aggregate score of 580.8535, earning A1 grades in eight subjects, including General Mathematics and English Language.

He is currently studying Medicine and Surgery at the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Osun State.

 

Education officials commended the students and teachers for their dedication, noting that the achievements reflect the positive impact of sustained investment in science-based and quality education.

 

The management and students of Eeman Foundation College expressed gratitude for the recognition, describing the honours as a strong motivation to strive for even greater academic heights.

Eeman Foundation Secondary School is an Islamic-oriented private secondary school located in Osogbo, Osun State. Established in September 2002 as a Nursery and Primary School, the institution expanded to include a secondary college in 2017.

The school is widely known for combining standard academic excellence with sound Islamic values, including Hifz (Qur’anic memorisation) and global language studies.
