[ADVERTORIAL] Who Is Chief Murtala Awolola?

Chief Murtala Awolola was born in 1957 in Erin-Ile, Oyun Local Government Area, Kwara State, Nigeria. He left Nigeria for Bremen, Germany, in 1988.

He is a hardworking man who has travelled to several African countries such as Ghana, the Republic of Benin, Ivory Coast, etc., and developed proficiency in different African languages like Hausa, Fanti (in Ghana), and others.

He also developed an interest in learning about other countries, their cultures, and people for a new life, new experiences, and immense contributions to human capital and nation-building.

Chief Murtala Awolola enrolled in a German language school and many other courses. He also worked at Mercedes-Benz Germany, rising from the lower cadre to senior management.

Chief Awolola joined German politics in 2009 and became a member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), Germany. He is also a member of the APC Diaspora Germany chapter; a member of the Bremen Integration Parliament; President, Pan-African Organization; member, Nigeria Union Bremen, Germany Chapter; representative, Immigrant Parliament visit to the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium; member, Nigeria Diaspora Germany; member, Yoruba Union Germany; member, All Progressives Congress (APC) Germany chapter and Diaspora; and a 2023 senatorial candidate for Kwara South.

He is the founder of the 2023 Incoming President Support Organization, founder of the Tinubu People’s Network, and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyun Local Government Area, Kwara State.

Chief Murtala Awolola has never abandoned his love for culture, sports, and recreational activities since 1996.

He organizes Artist Diary in the Studio and has consistently organized monthly African discos, among other activities.

He is the founder of Moje Queens Football Club and Moje United Football Club, Erin-Ile.

He passionately supports youth empowerment and education and has rolled out different kinds of empowerment and scholarship programmes for the less privileged and students across Kwara South and Nigeria.

Chief Murtala Awolola has always rendered financial support for the rehabilitation of schools, scholarships for indigent pupils, and succour to people with special needs (the physically challenged).

Chief Murtala Awolola has garnered tremendous experience, both nationally and internationally, spanning the countries he has visited, including France, the United Kingdom, Holland, Denmark, China, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Cuba, the United Arab Emirates, and others.

Because of his passion for sports, especially Moje Queens, Chief Murtala has facilitated the movement of three players from Moje Queens to Turkey’s Female League. These include Kafayat Folakemi Shittu (Giresun Sanayispor FC), Ajibola Mariam Ayoni, and Hassan Suliyat Damilola (A.L.G. Spor FC).

This led the CMA Movement to invite Chief Murtala Awolola to vote and contest for Senator under the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Kwara South Senatorial seat in the Upper Chamber, to bring development and progress to Kwara South, Kwara State, and Nigeria at large.
