The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Kwara State All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and Offa–based grassroots politician, Honourable (Alhaji) Mohammed Taofeek Oyekanmi Asafe Omoluabi (Kanjuko), who passed away on January 10, 2026.
During a condolence visit to the bereaved family, the Foundation presented a cash donation of ₦400,000 as immediate relief support and further announced the establishment of an education trust fund account for the children of the deceased with an initial deposit of ₦2 million
The Foundation also assured the family that the education trust fund would be continually credited from time to time to guarantee sustained educational support for the children.
Hon. Omoluabi’s demise has continued to generate an outpouring of grief across Offa and beyond, with party faithful, community leaders and residents mourning the loss of a devoted progressive and community builder.
The MOK Foundation delegation, which represented the Founder, Qs. Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, who also doubles as the Principal Partner of Luxiar Construction Company, was led by the Executive Director of the Foundation, Mr. Saheed Temitope Lawal, alongside the Director of Media, Nurudeen Ojo Mohammad, and Alhaji Moshood Tewogbola.
During the visit, the delegation met with the late politician’s wife, mother, children and siblings to personally convey the Foundation’s condolences and solidarity.
They were received by the deceased’s family which was represented by his siblings, Hon. Tunji Nurudeen Olanrewaju Omoluabi, Chief Executive Officer of Peacock Interior Decor and Peacock Exotic Wall Finishes; Hon. Azeez Oyeyemi Olanrewaju Omoluabi, a former Offa Chairmanship aspirant and founder of the Ileri Oluwa Foundation; and Ms. Jimoh Tawakalitu Omoluabi.
The Foundation conveyed the Founder’s condolence message and presented a cash donation of N400,000 to the bereaved family as immediate support.
In addition, the Foundation advised the family to open an education trust fund account for the children of the deceased, with a pledge of an initial deposit of N2 million into the account.
Responding on behalf of the family, Hon. Azeez Omoluabi expressed profound appreciation for the Foundation’s kind gesture and assured that the family would act accordingly.
He described the visit as a timely show of compassion and solidarity that would go a long way in supporting the family during the period of mourning.
