Some nights are quiet while nothing really happens, you’re not excited, you’re not worried, you’re just there, sitting with your thoughts and then in that silence, a thought comes to you — Life itself is a Life.
This is absolutely not because someone told you or because you read it somewhere, but simply because it just feels true, because life often only makes sense when you look back, even though it can only be lived moving forward.
Life doesn’t always make sense, yes, it doesn’t come with instructions, you wake up, do what you can, meet people, help where you can, and hope for the best.
Then slowly, almost without noticing, you begin to see things you never saw before, you now see how people can change, how trust can be fragile and of course how kindness can be forgotten, while selfishness is remembered, and you begin to realise that when people show you who they are, it’s better to accept it than explain it away.
How some people really show their true colors quietly, and how others quietly disappear, well it’s a hard truth, but it’s part of living, not everyone will recognize your intentions and that doesn’t make your heart any less valuable.
You notice that relationships, of every kind, are never simple, long stretches of peace or stability don’t always mean everything is okay, while silence can hide feelings and calm can hide struggles, because silence does not always mean peace.
Sometimes, life changes without warning, forcing you to see things as they really are not as you earlier imagined or hoped.
Life teaches lessons without shouting, it brings people into your world, and sometimes quietly takes them away.
It also tests patience, trust, and understanding, while also asking you to grow in ways you don’t expect, then some lessons are painful, some are gentle, but all are definitely real, and along the way you begin to understand that knowing yourself is where wisdom truly starts.
Take note the lessons themselves don’t always make sense at first, yes, some come wrapped in disappointment, some come wrapped in joy and then some can come in moments you’ll only understand much later.
What matters most is how you respond, while sitting quietly, reflecting, observing your own journey that is proof you are growing.
Life itself is a Life.
It is not perfect.
It is not fair.
It is not easy.
But it is real and to me that is really enough, because life is not about waiting for everything to be right, but learning how to live through whatever comes.
Even in the quiet nights, when thoughts feel heavy and the world feels uncertain, remember this: every moment, every change, every lesson is part of living.
To this end always remember that life is not just happening to you, it is happening with you and of course there is strength, wisdom, and beauty in that.
