The Founder of ENACT and Member, Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), representing the North Central, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, has expressed deep condolences to Dr. Babatunde Salami, former Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government and Secretary General of Omo Ibile Igbomina, over the passing of his beloved mother.
Engr. Adeyemi, on behalf of the leadership and entire ENACT family, described the demise as a painful loss not only to the Salami family but also to the wider community that benefitted from the values, upbringing, and legacy Mama instilled through her children.
He noted that Mama lived a life worthy of emulation—marked by humility, strength, prayerfulness, and dedication to family and community—qualities that are evident in the impactful leadership and service of Dr. Babatunde Salami.
“Though death is inevitable, the departure of a mother leaves a vacuum that cannot easily be filled. We take solace in the fact that Mama lived a fulfilled and impactful life, leaving behind enduring legacies of good character and service,” Engr. Adeyemi stated.
He prayed that Almighty God grants Dr. Babatunde Salami, the entire Salami family, and loved ones the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, and that Mama’s gentle soul finds eternal rest.
Engr. Adeyemi further urged the family to remain comforted by the good memories and values Mama left behind, assuring them of ENACT’s thoughts, prayers, and solidarity during this period of mourning.
