The All Nigeria Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS), Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State, has lauded the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation for its intervention in education through the award of WAEC scholarships to 300 students across the state for the 2026 examination year.
This was contained in a a letter of appreciation dated January 20, 2026, and jointly signed by the Chairman of ANCOPSS in Oyun Local Government, Alhaji Kazeem Kadiri, and the Secretary, Mrs. M. O. Hamzat.
The association described the initiative as a timely and noble gesture aimed at easing the burden on indigent families.
According to the letter, 43 scholarship slots were allocated to schools in Oyun Local Government Area.
The Association said this guestue would significantly reduce the financial challenges faced by students and parents in paying WAEC registration fees.
The principals noted that the intervention would not only enable many students to sit for the examination without hindrance but would also promote access to education and academic advancement among less-privileged candidates.
ANCOPSS further commended the MOK Foundation for its sustained contributions to human development.
It added that the foundation’s activities is impactful across social, economic, and physical spheres of life.
The association also praised the founder of the foundation, Alhaji QS Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, for what it described as a strong commitment to humanitarian service, noting that the scholarship programme reflects a dedication to serving humanity in line with moral and religious values.
The letter concluded with prayers for divine reward and continued success for the foundation, urging other well-meaning individuals and organisations to emulate the gesture in supporting education and youth development across Kwara State.
