A private jet operated by Flybird crash-landed on Sunday morning at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA), triggering a swift emergency response but leaving all occupants unharmed.
The aircraft, which departed Abuja for Kano, touched down at about 9.30am with 11 people on board, including three crew members.
Eyewitnesses at the airport said emergency personnel moved quickly to secure the scene as passengers were evacuated calmly and safely from the jet. No fatalities or injuries were recorded.
Airport operations were briefly disrupted as safety officials cordoned off the area to assess the situation and ensure runway integrity.
As of the time of filing this report, aviation authorities had yet to issue an official statement on the cause of the incident, with investigations expected to commence immediately.
