The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Adediji Construction Nigeria Ltd, Engr. Akeem Ibrahim Adediji, FNSE, has paid a courtesy and homecoming visit to the Balogun of Offaland, High Chief Maruf Olaniyi Balogun, in Offa, Kwara State earlier today.
Adediji, who hails from the Balogun district of Offa, described the visit as a return to his roots and an opportunity to formally appreciate traditional leadership for its enduring guidance and support to sons and daughters of the community.
Receiving him, the Balogun of Offaland applauded the engineer for his consistent community interventions, humanitarian services and sustained support to Offa, noting that his contributions had continued to positively impact lives and strengthen communal development.
The High chief extolled his sense of responsibility to his people and his commitment to giving back, describing him as a worthy ambassador of Offaland.
During the visit, Adediji formally informed the royal father of the forthcoming 90th birthday anniversary of his father, Chief Gbobaniyi of Offa, Alhaji Ibrahim Adeagbo Adediji, scheduled for Friday, December 19, 2025.
He also disclosed plans for the commissioning of a Jumu’ah Mosque as part of activities marking the milestone, with the Chief Imam of Offa expected to officiate at the commissioning.
The Balogun of Offaland commended the gesture, noting that celebrating longevity with acts of faith and charity reflected deep values of gratitude, humility and service to humanity.
He praised Adediji for honouring his father in a manner that uplifted the family name and reinforced the town’s spiritual and social fabric.
He further acknowledged the engineer’s growing reputation for philanthropy and community development, stating that his efforts continued to make his father, family, Offa and Kwara State proud.
The traditional chief offered prayers for divine replenishment of his resources, greater achievements in his professional endeavours and sustained impact in service to humanity.
