A leading aspirant for the Kwara State House of Assembly in the 2027 general election, Hon. Alhaji Sarafadeen Babatunde Oladipo, popularly known as Laka Omo Alubarika, has met with his ward campaign coordinators to fine-tune strategies aimed at strengthening his grassroots mobilisation across the Essa/Shawo/Igbodun State Constituency.
The strategic meeting held yesterday, Monday, December 29, 2025, at his residence in Offa.
This was part of efforts to increase the tempo and intensity of his consultation and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 polls.
Speaking at the meeting, Laka reiterated his commitment to people-oriented representation, promising to pursue policies and programmes that would promote inclusive development and responsive governance if elected.
The ward coordinators were led by Comrade Kazeem Adekunle, Chairman of the Laka Forum, a grassroots political movement within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Offa Local Government Area.
Adekunle declared the forum’s support for Laka, describing him as the most credible and people-focused aspirant for the constituency.
According to him, the movement has resolved to mobilise party members and voters across the constituency in support of Laka’s Aspiration.

He assured that members of the forum would intensify ward-by-ward sensitisation, consultations and mobilisation to ensure a resounding victory at the polls.
The meeting ended with renewed pledges of loyalty and a collective commitment to deepen grassroots engagement across Essa, Shawo and Igbodun communities.
