Controversial Nigerian artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has disclosed his intention to return to school to better understand the business dynamics of the music industry.
The “Zazu Zeh” hitmaker, who already possesses an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from Kwara State Polytechnic, said his decision is motivated by the need to gain greater control over his career, particularly in handling royalties and contracts.
Speaking on his educational plans, the Zeh Nation boss stressed that formal learning remains crucial for professional growth, regardless of success or fame.
“Even though I already have an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, I still want to further my education so I can understand my music royalties and business deals better, especially for my record label, Zeh Nation,” Portable stated.
He explained that the move is aimed at equipping himself with the knowledge required to manage his music empire efficiently, rather than relying solely on external advisers.
