The Nigerian Library Association (NLA), Kwara State Chapter, has announced a call for papers and publications ahead of its much-anticipated Golden Conference 2025, scheduled to hold from November 19 to 20, 2025, at the Academic Board Room, Federal Polytechnic, Offa.
In a statement issued by the Assistant Secretary of the Association, Mahammuod Sulyman Olaitan, the conference promises to be a landmark event bringing together scholars, librarians, publishers, authors, students, and other stakeholders in the information management and education sectors.
According to the statement, this year’s edition will feature an array of intellectual and interactive sessions, including paper presentations, panel discussions, a book launch, a public presentation of the NLA Compendium, and an exhibition showcasing innovations in library science and publishing.
“This Golden Conference is designed to create a vibrant platform where professionals and enthusiasts can share ideas, showcase research, and discuss contemporary issues shaping the future of librarianship in Kwara State and beyond,” Olaitan said.
He added that the NLA Kwara Chapter remains committed to advancing knowledge sharing, professional collaboration, and research visibility in the field of library and information science.
