[PHOTOS] Senator Ashiru Donates Ultra-Modern Shopping Complex to Oro Kingdom

The Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District, Senator Architect Oyelola Yisa Ashiru, has donated a new ultra-modern shopping complex to the Oro Kingdom.

This is part of his efforts to drive economic development and empower local traders within the senatorial district.

The Oloro of Oro Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye Olufayo II made the disclosure in a post on his verified social media accounts yesterday.

The foundation-laying ceremony was graced by religious leaders, community elders, and stakeholders, including the Bishop of St. James Anglican Church, Rt. Rev’d Dr. Timothy Olajide Adebayo, and the Imam Agba of Oro Kingdom, Alhaji Dr. Sanusi Taofeeq Olamilekan Alaago, who both lauded the senator’s initiative.

Earlier today, I was joined by stakeholders and community leaders to lay the foundation for a new Shopping Complex, generously donated to our Kingdom by the Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing the Kwara South Senatorial District, Senator Architect Oyelola Yisa Ashiru.

This modern complex, donated in commemoration of my 1st year Anniversary on the throne of my forefathers, is a significant initiative aimed at boosting local business, driving economic growth within the community, and making physical facilities accessible and affordable for business owners.

The foundation-laying ceremony was well-attended by religious leaders, including the Bishop of St. James Anglican Church, Rt. Rev’d Dr. Timothy Olajide Adebayo, and the Imam Agba of Oro Kingdom, Alhaji Dr. Sanusi Taofeeq Olamilekan Alaago, among others, alongside the entire community.

In their respective remarks, the Bishop and the Imam expressed their delight that Oro Kingdom is witnessing such an ideal intervention and development under my reign. They extended sincere gratitude and offered prayers for Senator Oyelola Ashiru for the initiative, noting that it will significantly contribute to the economic development and self-reliance of our people.

I seized the opportunity to appreciate all stakeholders for their support and commitment over the past year, while reiterating my commitment to achieving greater success for our Kingdom in the years ahead.

Similarly, on behalf of my subjects and the Kingdom, I extended our profound appreciation to the Distinguished Senator Oyelola Yisa Ashiru for finding our community worthy of this vital project and for celebrating our one year anniversary on the throne of my forefathers in such a grand and impactful style.
