The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Movement has continued its tradition of uplifting lives through its Weekly Empowerment Programme, with another round of financial and food support held today in Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State.
In this week’s edition, 10 beneficiaries received a total of ₦300,000, while aged persons from different communities in Offa were provided with essential food items to cushion the effects of the current economic hardship.
The event was anchored by Mr. Tajudeen Oyeyemi and Alhaja Osinowo, both representatives of the MOK Movement of Nigeria, Offa Chapter.
Speaking during the presentation, the organisers reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to human capital and community development, stressing that the empowerment programme is part of Hon. Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode’s vision to promote inclusive growth and poverty reduction in Kwara South.
They added that the weekly initiative is designed to provide consistent relief and encouragement to the less privileged, especially widows, artisans, and the elderly, while fostering a culture of shared prosperity in Offa and beyond.
Residents and beneficiaries who spoke at the event expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) for his continuous show of compassion and generosity, describing the empowerment initiative as a lifeline in difficult times.
