A frontline political figure and Kwara State House of Assembly aspirant for Eesa/Shawo/Igbodun Constituency, Hon. Abdulrauf Bolaji, popularly known as Hon. BJ, has extended a gesture of appreciation to elderly women in his ward for their consistency and punctuality at political meetings.
During yesterday’s ward, Hon. BJ gifted the elderly women and men, who are known for always arriving early for meetings, a token sum of amount. A total of 20 women and some men benefited from the gesture.
He said the act was his personal way of appreciating their loyalty, commitment, and steadfastness toward the party’s progress at the grassroots level.
“These mothers have shown remarkable dedication. Despite their age, they never miss meetings and always come early. I believe such commitment deserves recognition, no matter how small,” Hon. BJ said.
The beneficiaries expressed joy and gratitude to the aspirant, praying for his success in his political ambition.
Party members at the meeting commended Hon. BJ’s thoughtfulness, describing the gesture as a reflection of his humility and compassion for the grassroots.
They noted that his continued support for the elderly and other members of the community stands as proof of his people-oriented leadership style.
