
The Offa Grammar School 2014 Set has donated a range of educational materials to students of the school.
This was in a bid of continuation of its commitment to supporting quality education and contributing to the growth of its alma mater.
The donation, which took place at the school premises on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, included 12 school bags, 12 mathematical sets, 15 higher education notebooks, and 24 sixty-leaves exercise books, distributed to 12 Junior Secondary School 2 students as beneficiaries.
The event had in attendance key members of the school’s management, including the Senior Principal, Alhaja Lawal O. F.; Junior Principal, Mrs. Bello; Mr. Jimoh, Chairman of the Scholarship Committee and Mathematics Teacher; Mr. Olantinwo, and Mr. Gafar, a member of the Scholarship Committee.
Representing the 2014 Set Executives were the Chairman, Mr. Suleiman Taiwo; Vice Chairman, Mr. Saliu Omoniyi Waliu; Welfare Director, Mr. Jimoh Samsudeen Olamilekan; and PRO II, Ms. Moshood Azeezat Omolara.
Other members present included Mr. Jimoh Musa, Ms. Oyelola Semiat, and Mr. Abdulsalam Mujeeb.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the 2014 Set, Mr. Suleiman Taiwo, expressed appreciation to the school authorities for their dedication to sustaining the legacy of Offa Grammar School.
He noted that the gesture was inspired by the enduring impact the school had on their lives and by the examples set by previous alumni groups.
He encouraged the beneficiaries to emulate the spirit of giving back and to make judicious use of the donated materials.
According to him, the 2014 Set remains committed to supporting initiatives that enhance learning and academic excellence in Offa Grammar School.
In her remarks, the Senior Principal, Alhaja Lawal O. F., commended the 2014 Set for their thoughtful contribution, emphasizing that the selection of beneficiaries was transparent and devoid of bias.
She appreciated the alumni for remembering their roots and urged other sets to emulate the gesture.
The 2014 Set reaffirmed its dedication to continued collaboration with the school management to improve learning conditions and motivate students to strive for excellence.
