…Flags off 15km Ilemona–Ojoku Road Project
The Olojoku of Ojoku Kingdom, His Royal Highness Oba AbdulRazaq Adegboyega Afolabi Iyiolasemi III, has conferred the honorary chieftaincy title of Aare Bobaselu of Ojoku Land on the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The conferment was announced on Wednesday during the official flag-off ceremony for the construction of the 15-kilometre Ilemona–Ojoku Road in Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara South Senatorial District.
The announcement was made public by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Communication, Ibraheem Abdullateef Akolu, also known as “Egghead,” who shared the update on his Facebook account.
Speaking at the event, Oba Afolabi described the road project as a historic intervention that will transform the economic landscape of the community and improve connectivity for residents.
The monarch praised the governor for his administration’s commitment to rural development, infrastructure renewal, and community upliftment across the state.
Governor AbdulRazaq also holds the title of Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate.
The event was attended by top government officials, traditional leaders, political associates, and community members who described the moment as a celebration of leadership and progress for Ojoku Kingdom.
