A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State and aspirant for the Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency seat in 2027, Hon. Moshood Adeleke, has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating the country’s 65th Independence anniversary.
In a statement on Tuesday, Adeleke, who is also the founder of the HMA Foundation, described Nigeria’s journey since independence as a testament to the resilience, unity, and determination of its people.
He urged citizens to remain hopeful and committed to the nation’s progress despite prevailing challenges, noting that collective sacrifice and patriotism were essential for building a stronger country.
“Nigeria at 65 is a story of trials, triumphs, and unwavering faith in the future. We must not lose sight of the sacrifices of our past leaders, and we must all work together to make our democracy and institutions stronger,” he said.
Adeleke also reaffirmed his commitment to contributing to the growth of Kwara State and Nigeria at large, stressing that grassroots empowerment and responsive leadership remained key to national development.
