Hon. Giwa Musemil Kehinde (GMK) Salutes Teachers on the 2025 International Teachers’ Day

Honourable Giwa Musemil Kehinde (GMK), a frontline chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, 2027 aspirant for the Kwara State House of Assembly seat (Ojomu/Balogun Constituency), and Founder of Giwa Foundation, has extended felicitations to teachers across Kwara State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of this year’s International Teachers’ Day celebration.

In a statement personally signed by him earlier today, GMK described teachers as “the true nation-builders whose sacrifices and commitment form the cornerstone of every great society.”

He also emphasised the urgent need to empower educators through improved welfare, professional development, and the integration of technology into learning.

“Teachers are the architects of our collective progress. Every great leader, innovator, and professional was once guided by the patient hand of a teacher. Their role in shaping values, nurturing dreams, and building character cannot be overstated,” he said.

Hon. Giwa further called on government at all levels to prioritize teachers’ welfare, ensure regular training, and provide conducive environments for teaching and learning.

He reinforced that a nation that neglects its teachers undermines its own development and future prosperity.

“Through the Giwa Foundation, we remain committed to supporting education initiatives in Offa and across Kwara State. Our teachers deserve not only recognition but continuous encouragement and support to thrive,” he added.

GMK concluded by saluting all teachers for their resilience, patience, and enduring impact on generations, while praying for renewed strength and greater fulfillment in their noble service to humanity.
