The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State has inaugurated coordinators of the Renewed Hope Grassroot Movement across the 12 wards of the council.
The move markes a fresh push to galvanise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
At the ceremony, the Chairman of the committee, Alhaji Yusuf Owolabi Hakeem, urged the newly inaugurated ward coordinators to see themselves as key ambassadors of the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which, according to him, is anchored on economic revival, social development, and strengthened national security.
He stressed that grassroots mobilization remains the strongest pillar of democratic success.
He added that the committee would go beyond politics by engaging communities and highlighting the achievements of President Tinubu’s administration.
“This is about carrying the message of Renewed Hope directly to the people, in their homes and communities,” Hakeem said.
He also assured that the movement in Offa would leave no ward untouched in the re-election campaign drive.
Party stakeholders at the event described the inauguration as timely and strategic, especially as the ruling party intensifies efforts to consolidate its base ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The event, which drew party loyalists and community leaders, also showcased the APC’s resolve to deepen its grassroots presence in Offa and Kwara State at large.
