Prince Segun Teniola, a seasoned estate surveyor and Chief Executive Officer of Segun Teniola & Co, has been elected Deputy National Youths Coordinator of the Yoruba community across 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Teniola, who already holds the title of Olori Odo I (Overall Youth Leader) of the Yoruba community in Kaduna State, clinched the new position during the congress and general elections of the Yoruba Community in the Northern States and FCT held on September 26, 2025, in Makurdi, Benue State.
The election, which drew representatives from all 19 northern states, produced a fresh team of executives to steer the affairs of the pan-Yoruba body.
Comrade Taofeek Olaosebikan, the National PRO of the Offa Descendants Union (ODU), emerged as the National Youths Coordinator, with Teniola deputising him.
Speaking shortly after his emergence, Teniola expressed gratitude to the congress for entrusting him with such a responsibility, promising to foster unity, empower youths, and advance Yoruba cultural identity in the northern region.
He noted that his new role would complement his ongoing efforts in Kaduna, where he has been actively engaging young people through leadership, mentorship, and community development initiatives.

The new executives are expected to serve as a bridge between the Yoruba community in the North and their kith and kin in the South, while also promoting peace, inclusivity, and socio-cultural development.
With his latest elevation, Teniola is now positioned as one of the leading youth voices within the Yoruba community in northern Nigeria, a role many believe he has long been preparing for.
