The Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa, Alayeluwa Oba Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe; rpa, FDM, Ajagbusi-Ekun VI, has greeted the Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko III, on the occasion of his 77th birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message issued earlier today, Oba Ogungbangbe described the monarch’s new age as a remarkable milestone that reflects a life of service, sacrifice, and dedication to the unity and progress of Ijesaland.
He added that Oba Haastrup’s journey, from distinguished public service to successful business ventures and eventually to the exalted throne of his forefathers, remains an inspiration to sons and daughters of Ijesaland.
“Since your ascension as the 41st Owa Obokun Adimula, you have continued to demonstrate uncommon wisdom, courage, and vision in leading our people with dignity and honour,” the statement read in part.
The Owaloko commended the Owa Obokun Adimula for his commitment to preserving Ijesa heritage, promoting peace, and driving socio-economic development across Ijesaland.
“As you mark this 77th natal day, I join millions of Ijesas at home and in the diaspora in celebrating you. It is my prayer that God Almighty grants you long life in sound health, renewed strength, and greater wisdom to continue to steer the affairs of Ijesaland to greater heights,” Oba Ogungbangbe added.
He concluded with goodwill wishes for the monarch and reaffirmed his loyalty and solidarity to the revered stool of the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland.
