Special Assistant on Media to the Executive Chairman of Offa Local Government, Queen-Latifah Olanrewaju (Arẹwà), has congratulated Hon. Suleiman Olatunji Laaro Omituntun (ASU) on his first anniversary in office.
She described his tenure as a symbol of restored hope and grassroots transformation.
In a goodwill message made available to newsmen earlier today, Olanrewaju commended the synergy between the chairman and councilors, noting that the collaboration had ensured smooth administration and impactful projects across Offa.
She highlighted several achievements recorded within the year, including the construction of a 1.1km asphaltic road, renovation of the legislative chamber and local government secretariat, road grading in 10 communities, provision of transformers, and sponsorship of Offa LG Football Club at the Sadauna Gari U-16 tournament.
Other projects listed were the construction of classroom blocks at Yeke community, award of 55 scholarships to tertiary students, borehole installations and repairs across all 12 wards, installation of 50 solar-powered streetlights, rehabilitation of the BHC Igboidun health facility with 24-hour solar power, health campaigns against drug abuse and polio, provision of motorcycles for security personnel, and mega empowerment programmes for women and youth.
Olanrewaju said the record of achievements showed Omituntun’s determination to deliver on his campaign promises and reposition Offa for progress.
“As a party loyalist, he has carried everyone along and strengthened the bond between governance and the people. His administration is indeed a symbol of hope restored,” she said.
She prayed for continued divine guidance for the chairman, assuring him of her support as he leads Offa into another year of service and development.
