Offa LG Chairman, Hon Sulaiman Olatunji Laaro Omituntun Presents N7.37bn 2025 Budget Estimate to Legislative Council

The Executive Chairman of Offa Local Government, Hon. Suleiman Olatunji Omituntun, has called on Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to channel more developmental projects to Offa and its environs.

He specifically requested the construction of the Atari–Summit University road, the Awrab Junction–Owode Market–Adeleke road, and the Agun–Igosun road, as well as the completion of Rondo Road.

He urged the Governor, through the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, to prioritise key infrastructure needs in Offa while speaking during the Citizens’ Engagement on the 2026 Budget preparation.

The Chairman maintained that Offa still requires urgent government attention in critical areas while appreciating the administration for completed projects such as Amuyo Ring Road, Ibrahim Taiwo Road, renovated schools, and rehabilitated health centres.

He further acknowledged the recent approval of a 2-kilometre road from Olofa Way and the planned upgrade of Olofa Stadium. He said the latter is vital to reviving sporting activities in the community.

Hon. Omituntun reaffirmed the people of Offa’s loyalty to the AbdulRazaq-led government but insisted that the town, as a strategic hub in Kwara State, deserves more projects to match its developmental needs.
