With the countdown already ticking towards the much-anticipated Offa O2 Arena Concert, the convener, Mr. Bello Abdulbashit Adeshina (popularly known as MC Bayshee of Kwara), has continued to rally support from notable stakeholders in Offa and beyond.
Yesterday, MC Bayshee paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Offa Local Government, Hon. Sulaiman Olatunji Laaro Omituntun, and the Adviser on Political Matters to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Hon. Abdulwahab Femi Agbaje Whyte, where he presented them with special invitation cards to the star-studded event.
The meeting, which held in Offa, was part of efforts to project the concert as a community-driven cultural festival.
MC Bayshee noted that the concert, billed for October 11, 2025, at the Imperial Complex, opposite Summit University, Offa, would not only showcase entertainment but also reinforce Offa’s reputation as a hub of creativity and youthful energy.
He stressed that the support of political and traditional leaders was critical to sustaining the vision of positioning Offa as a cultural destination capable of attracting national attention.
Hon. Laaro Omituntun and Hon. Agbaje Whyte, while receiving the invites, commended the initiative, pledging their support and urging youths to embrace the project as a positive alternative to social vices.
The Offa O2 Arena Concert is expected to feature Barry Jhay, Mutolizzy, Asake Elenureso, Starrron, and several others, alongside top DJs, MCs, and dance troupes.
