The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has once again demonstrated its commitment to education and community development as it threw its weight behind the “One Child, One Book, One Pen Project 3.0” of the Junior Chamber International Nigeria (JCIN), Federal Polytechnic chapter.
In a bid to mark this year’s International Literacy Day, members of JCIN paid a courtesy visit to the Foundation’s house to seek partnership for the initiative aimed at promoting literacy and supporting less privileged pupils in Offa.
Responding to their request, Executive Director of the Foundation, Mr. Saheed Lawal commended the group for their consistency in advancing educational causes and pledged the Foundation’s support.
He made a presentation of packets of pencils to the team as part of the Foundation’s contribution to the 2025 edition of the project.
According to JCIN, the third edition of the initiative is set to reach 300 pupils across selected schools in Offa with essential learning materials, building on the success of last year’s outreach where over 200 children benefited.
Mr. Lawal assured the group of the Foundation’s continuous readiness to partner on youth-focused and educational programmes, stressing that such gestures remain central to MOK Foundation’s vision of empowering the next generation.
The JCIN leadership expressed gratitude to the Foundation for the timely support, describing the gesture as a morale booster for the success of the project and an encouragement for more pupils to embrace learning with optimism.
