Kwara South Stakeholders Chart Path to End Insecurity As Traditional Rulers, NALDA Boss, Lawmakers Unite Against Rising Threats

The Executive Secretary and CEO of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA), Engr. Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo, has stated that all hands must be on deck to address the insecurity issues plaguing the Kwara South Senatorial district.

Adebayo made this known during a crucial stakeholders’ meeting with two traditional rulers and other relevant stakeholders to address security concerns in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The meeting, held on Thursday at the office of Major General A.A. Adekeye, the Chief of Army Personnel Management, was attended by HRM Oba (Dr.) Solomon Olugbenga Oloyede, the Olusin of Isanlu-Isin, HRH Oba Pharm. Julius Ademola Ajibola, the Olusin of Ijara-Isin and other relevant stakeholders.

According to a brief statement made available to 9japarrot media, the meeting was a continuation of ongoing efforts by major stakeholders to ensure the safety and security of lives and properties in the region.

The discussions emphasized the importance of making the people of Isin Local Government feel secure in their communities.

The talks focused on collaborative strategies to enhance security measures and address the challenges facing the local government.

9japarrot reports that the presence of the traditional rulers, stakeholders, and the NALDA boss highlights a multi-stakeholder approach to tackling insecurity, with a particular focus on the Kwara South Senatorial district and Isin LGA.

Other stakeholders at the meeting were; Hon. Raheem Tunji Olawuyi (Ajuloopin) member representing Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/and Oke-Ero federal constituency, Executive Chairman of Isin Local Government, Hon. Benjamin Jolayemi; NALDA CEO, Engr. Segun Adebayo; former Isin TIC Chairman, Hon. Tunde Fadipe; and Dr. Tayo Abikoye.
