Honourable Moshood Adeleke, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, has felicitated Muslims across the country on the occasion of this year’s Maolud Nabiy celebration.
Adeleke, who is the founder of HMA Foundation and an aspirant for the Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, described the celebration as a reminder of the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a goodwill message, the philanthropist urged Muslims to reflect on the values of love, humility, peace, and compassion that the Prophet stood for, stressing that such virtues are needed to strengthen unity and promote development in Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole.
He also called on the faithful to use the period to pray for the country, noting that national progress could only be achieved in an atmosphere of peace, tolerance, and mutual respect.
“Maolud Nabiy is not just about merriment, but about living by the virtues of the Holy Prophet. As we celebrate, let us imbibe the lessons of sacrifice, patience, and kindness that he preached and practised,” Adeleke said.
The APC chieftain further reaffirmed his commitment to the empowerment of youths and women through the HMA Foundation, pledging to continue supporting initiatives that improve education, healthcare, and economic opportunities within his constituency.
