The National Coordinator of the Kwankwaso National Network (KNN), Asiwaju Mashood Shittu has called on Nigerians across the country to take full advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR).
He describes the voter’s card as “the most powerful tool for shaping the future of the nation.”
Shittu, a former National Chairman of the defunct Alliance National Party (ANP) and Director-General (North) of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s 2023 presidential campaign, stressed that active participation in the democratic process begins with registration.
According to him, “Your voter’s card is not just an ID. It is your voice, your power, and your ticket to a new Nigeria. Those who are yet to register must seize this opportunity, while those who have misplaced their cards should apply for replacements. Only by doing so can citizens truly hold leaders accountable and chart a new direction for the country.”
The KNN Coordinator explained that the exercise was not only a civic duty but also a patriotic responsibility, urging youths, women, and first-time voters to show commitment to democracy.
He added that a new Nigeria is only possible when citizens understand the weight of their civic power and use it responsibly.
Shittu further assured that the Kwankwaso National Network will continue to mobilise Nigerians, particularly at the grassroots, to participate actively in democratic processes and support initiatives that strengthen the nation’s institutions.
