Iyabo Ojo Celebrates Grandson’s Canadian Passport

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, is in a celebratory mood as her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, and Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, marked a milestone in their new family journey with the announcement that their son, Prince Rakim Ayomide Mkambala, has officially received his Canadian passport.

Rakim, who was born in Canada on August 24, 2025, had his citizenship confirmed on Saturday, a development that Ojo joyfully shared with fans via her Instagram story.

The actress posted a video showing red baby clothing adorned with Canadian symbols alongside the infant’s passport. In another clip, she said, “Guys, I’m excited. Grandma is excited because our cutest, finest, star boy, Prince Rakim Ayomide Mkambala, has collected his Canadian passport. Tanzania, are you ready? Asante!”

The baby, fondly called “Prince Rakim,” has already become an internet sensation. Within hours of launching his Instagram page, @rakeem_mk, managed by his parents, he amassed more than 100,000 followers. A short video celebrating his passport also featured on the account, drawing reactions from fans in Nigeria, Tanzania, and beyond.

Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux, who tied the knot earlier in 2025, had first announced their pregnancy in July with a lavish gender reveal party. The Canadian passport, according to admirers, symbolises a blend of the baby’s Nigerian, Tanzanian, and Canadian roots.

Friends, colleagues, and fans have since flooded social media with congratulatory messages, hailing the development as a heart-warming chapter for the celebrity couple and their newborn.
