Ikirun College of Health Technology on Monday, September 1, 2025, formally commenced its new academic session with a call on students to pursue excellence, discipline, and innovation as guiding principles of their academic journey.
The Rector of the College, Mr. Salaudeen Oyewale urged both fresh and returning students to see the new session as a fresh start and a pathway to personal and professional transformation.
“This new academic year offers each one of you a fresh start, a chance to not only acquire knowledge but to transform yourselves into competent, compassionate, and community-driven health professionals. At Ikirun College of Health Technology, we are not just training students; we are building a future-ready healthcare workforce for Nigeria and beyond,” he said.
The Rector reiterated the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, moral uprightness, and practical-based training.
He added that the college had recently introduced curriculum innovations to align its programmes with global standards in health education and public health.
He also encouraged the students to take advantage of the college’s modern laboratories, clinical partnerships, and digital learning resources while upholding values of service and responsibility.
