
The Igbomina National Students’ Union, Federal Polytechnic Offa Chapter, has recognized Honourable Moshood Adeleke, Founder of the Honourable Moshood Adeleke (HMA) Foundation, for his outstanding contributions to youth empowerment and community development.
The award presentation took place yesterday during the union’s 2024/2025 sessional activities.
The Union celebrated for his consistent support for students, mentorship initiatives, and dedication to advancing the Igbomina heritage.
Hon. Adeleke who was ably represented by Mr. Rasaq Sikiru, Chief Executive Officer of Sk Tech Solar and General Contractors, expressed gratitude on behalf of Hon. Adeleke.
He added that the recognition would further inspire him to continue investing in education, youth development, and community growth.
“I am deeply honoured by this recognition from the Igbomina National Students’ Union, Federal Polytechnic Offa Chapter. The work of HMA Foundation has always been driven by a passion for empowering young people and building sustainable opportunities for our communities. This award is not just for me but for everyone who has been part of our journey,” Hon. Adeleke said through his representative.
Adeleke reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening educational support systems, fostering unity among Igbomina youths, and expanding the impact of the HMA Foundation across Kwara State and beyond.
The president of the union, Abdulrasaq Taofeeq Opeyemi (Prosper.T), commended Hon. Adeleke’s foundation for its support, mentorship, and contributions to the progress of Igbomina students at the institution.
He noted that such partnerships have been instrumental in the union’s achievements.
The event also featured the presence of royal fathers, traditional leaders, and community stakeholders, all of whom lent their blessings and encouragement to the students’ body.
