The 6th Parliament of the Federation of Ibadan Students’ Union (FIBSU), under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Lawal Samad Olateju, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Sen.) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Parliament, Olateju described the monarch’s ascension as a historic milestone and a blessing to Ibadanland.
He reaffirmed the Parliament’s unwavering commitment to upholding the values of Ibadan tradition and culture while pledging continuous loyalty to the stool of the Olubadan.
“Our Parliament identifies with the progress of Ibadanland under the revered leadership of our Grand Patron and Royal Father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ladoja. We are confident that his reign will further consolidate peace, justice, and prosperity for the city and its people,” the statement read.
The FIBSU Speaker also prayed for the monarch’s good health and wisdom to lead Ibadan to greater heights, assuring that the Parliament would remain a dependable partner in advancing the collective aspirations of Ibadanland.
