The Executive Director of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) representing Kwara State, Hajia Bilqis Jumoke Sanni, has congratulated Muslims across the state and beyond on the occasion of the 2025 Maolud Nabiy celebration.
In her goodwill message on Friday, Hajia Sanni described the Maolud as a moment of reflection on the life, teachings, and exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
She urged Muslims to imbibe the virtues of peace, compassion, tolerance, and selflessness that the Prophet stood for.
“Maolud Nabiy is not only a time of celebration but also a reminder of our collective responsibility to live in harmony, promote unity, and show love to one another irrespective of differences,” she stated.
The NCDC director further called on religious leaders and parents to continue guiding the younger generation towards righteousness and moral uprightness, stressing that the country needed peace and mutual understanding to thrive.
While praying for continuous divine mercy and blessings upon Nigeria, Hajia Sanni reaffirmed her commitment to supporting initiatives that foster development, peace, and social cohesion in Kwara and the North Central region at large.
