A disturbing video has surfaced online showing terrorists torturing a popular Point-of-Sale (POS) agent, Yman, and two children in captivity in Kwara State. The abductors are demanding a ₦50 million ransom for their release.

The footage, filmed in a forest hideout, shows the visibly weak hostages being flogged by unmasked gunmen as they cried out in pain, pleading with the government and the public to rescue them.

Yman was abducted in late June 2025 during a spate of kidnappings in Kwara North and has now spent over a month in captivity alongside the children.

Relatives who spoke to journalists disclosed that the kidnappers have taken control of Yman’s WhatsApp and TikTok accounts, posting videos of him weeping and begging for food while mocking him. They also revealed that the lead kidnapper appeared unmasked in at least seven videos, seemingly undeterred by the risk of exposure.

The family has called on security agencies and the state government to urgently intervene to secure the hostages’ release.

As of the time of filing this report, authorities have yet to comment on the video.
