Veteran Nigerian actor Segun Remi, popularly known by his stage name Chief Kanran, has died.
The veteran thespian passed away on Friday morning at the age of 72.
Chief Kanran was a household name in the Yoruba film industry, revered for his distinctive style, humour, and commanding stage presence. Over several decades, he featured in numerous stage productions and films, leaving an indelible mark on Nigerian theatre and cinema.
