The Executive Director of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), representing Kwara State, Bilqis Jumoke Sanni, has lauded the First Lady of Kwara State, Her Excellency Ambassador Professor Olufolake AbdulRazaq as she celebrates her birthday today.
She describes her as an embodiment of grace, intellect, and unrelenting service to humanity.
In a statement personally signed and made available to the press, Sanni paid glowing tribute to the First Lady’s outstanding character, applauding her as “a phenomenal woman whose capacity to serve, support, and inspire continues to uplift countless lives, especially women and children across Kwara and beyond.”
“Her Excellency, Ambassador Professor Olufolake AbdulRazaq, has always stood out to me—not only in her public role, but in the warmth and humility she radiates in her personal interactions.
“She is the quintessential woman of substance, a multitasker whose poise and attention to detail are simply admirable,” she said.
Reflecting on personal encounters with the First Lady, Sanni recalled how, on two different occasions, she reached out to Her Excellency at short notice on behalf of the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Ilorin Branch.
“Even when she was not physically around to receive my invite, she honoured us with her presence and supported us generously as our Golden Mother. Her heart for service is as golden as her title.
“She is a woman who never lets circumstances harden her warmth. Even in what I would call a hostile setting, she always carries herself with compassion, humility, and an innate ability to connect—especially with women.”
According to NCDC ED, what makes the First Lady truly special is not just her title or high profile, but the simplicity with which she navigates both official responsibilities and personal commitments, winning hearts and leaving lasting impressions wherever she goes.
Sanni celebrated the First Lady’s accomplishments not just as the wife of the Governor, but as a diplomat, scholar, and advocate for social justice.
She declared that her numerous interventions through the Ajike People Support Centre and other charitable initiatives are lasting testaments to her commitment to humanity.
“On this special day, I join thousands in Kwara State and beyond to salute a woman of uncommon virtue, one who wears many hats but carries them all with dignity and purpose. May God Almighty continue to bless and keep Her Excellency in sound health, peace, and renewed strength to continue the good work she is doing,” Sanni said.
