The Executive Director of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), representing Kwara State, Bilqis Jumoke Sanni, has joined leaders and citizens across the country in celebrating the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on the occasion of his 57th birthday.

In a statement personally signed, Sanni described Professor Yilwatda as “a pleasant and exemplary gentleman whose life of service in academia, governance, and public administration continues to inspire hope for a better Nigeria.”

She recalled meeting the APC Chairman only yesterday and being struck by his humility, warmth, and deep sense of purpose.

“Prof. Yilwatda is not just a political leader; he is a scholar, a reformer, and a man with an uncommon passion for inclusive governance. From his days as a university professor to his impactful tenure as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, and as Resident Electoral Commissioner, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to the socio-economic development of our nation,” she said.

Sanni particularly lauded his contributions to disability-friendly policies and inclusive electoral systems during his time at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

“The disability community will never forget his pioneering steps in implementing voting systems that allowed persons with disabilities to participate more fully in our democratic process. It is my hope that, as APC Chairman, he will continue to champion inclusivity and fairness,” she stated.

She wished him continued good health, wisdom, and fulfilment in his leadership role, praying for more years of impactful service to Nigeria.

“On behalf of myself, the good people of Kwara, and the entire North Central Development Commission, I say happy birthday to a rare gem and a great Nigerian patriot. May the years ahead be even more rewarding for you and for the nation you serve,” she concluded.

Signed
